About the event
Explore the printing potential of spring leaves, in a relaxing and inspiring workshop at Frodsham Community Centre.
After an inital introduction to the principles and practice of botanical contact ['eco'] printing, you will explore the printing potential of different spring leaves, and ways to enhance their definition and colour.
Whilst having fun in a relaxed environment, you will learn about differences between leaves and why they differ in their ability to make prints. Having printed some samples, you will print at least one piece of silk large enough for a scarf, and at least one stack of papers.
There will be plenty of time for discussion. Participant numbers for the workshop are restricted to eight, to maximise your experience.
All materials [worth £30], tea and coffee all day and a light vegetarian lunch are included in the workshop fee. If you prefer, you may bring your own lunch.
