This striking, one-of-a-kind zipped pouch is made wholly from upcycled fabrics: some donated waste cellulose furnishing fabric, with the sun inset made with pre-loved cotton. It is lined with a pre-loved shirt.  Accent top stitching is in white. 
 
The sun insert was dyed by hand, with dye made from the foliage of local blackberry bushes, then dipped in iron, arashi shibori-style [aka pole dyeing]. The dye print design is totally unique and the external zip pull is in the same fabric. 
 
There is a small zipped pocket inside the pouch, integral to the linen lining, in which you can keep precious items secure.
