Create two colourful festive gifts in a fun workshop in the awesome environment of Preston Guild Hall. You  could make the wonderfully unique gifts for a loved one... or for yourself!Â
Discover nature's secrets when you dye a tote bag and a silk or wool scarf [approx. 135cm x 30cm] with drab-looking onion skins or dried buddleia flowers. You'll be astounded at the wonderfulf colours you can produce. Â
In this inspiring workshop, you will learn about sustainability and natural fibres, the basics of natural dyes and pigments, [specifically onion skins and buddleia] how to extract dye from plant matter and  simple shibori [tie dye] techniques for creating patterns.Â
No previous experience is necessary.
