About the event
Hassall Green Nature Reserve is a two heactare site opened in 2014 by the Land Trust. The vision is to allow this former sand quarry and landfill to become a haven for wildlife, with its rich woodland and meadows. It is now a haven for birds, butterflies, bats and rare wildflowers.
The Nature Reserve is holding another Family Open Day on Saturday September 14th, from 10am to 4pm. It will be a fun filled, nature loving family friendly day out. Â
Experience tasters of all the courses and activities run on site.Â
Planned activities include: botanical eco printing with me; wild cooking; dry stone walling; outdoor yoga; willow weaving; drumming circles; family bushcraft and so much more...
